1. Our Role We provide coordination and referral services only. We are not a retreat provider. Our role is to connect you with independent psychedelic facilitators and retreat organizers who operate legally in their respective jurisdictions. We do not host, manage, or conduct retreats ourselves.

2. No Medical Advice or Care Our services, website, and materials are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site or in our communications should be interpreted as medical or psychiatric advice. We do not offer diagnosis, treatment, or medical supervision. You are responsible for consulting with a qualified medical or mental health professional to determine whether a psychedelic experience is appropriate for you.

3. Legal Jurisdiction and Venue These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

By using our services, you agree that any dispute, claim, or legal action arising out of or relating to our website, coordination services, or any referral we provide shall:

• First be submitted for informal resolution, and if necessary, resolved through binding arbitration (see Section 4).
• Be handled entirely through remote means (e.g., video conference, telephone, or written submissions), without requiring the physical presence of either party.
• Be governed by the laws of Florida, with arbitration administered in accordance with the American Arbitration Association.
• Not involve in-person proceedings. If in-person attendance is legally required, you agree not to compel us to be physically present and to allow the matter to proceed remotely or through legally permissible alternatives.

You further waive the right to participate in any class action, group proceeding, or collective claim against Consciousness Rising Org LLC, and agree that any legal action must be brought on an individual basis only.

Disputes related to the retreat experience itself — including anything that happens during a psychedelic ceremony, integration session, or onsite care — fall under the laws of the country where the retreat takes place and must be resolved directly with the facilitator or retreat organizer.

4. Arbitration Agreement You agree to resolve any claim or dispute related to your use of the Site or our services through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except for small claims that qualify. The arbitration will be conducted remotely and follow the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with Florida as the legal seat of arbitration. You agree not to pursue claims as part of any group or class action and may only bring them in your individual capacity.

5. Role of Facilitators and Retreat Providers We only work with facilitators we believe to be ethical and experienced. However, you acknowledge that we do not supervise, employ, or control them. They are fully independent. Once referred, your retreat contract and waiver will be signed directly with the facilitator or retreat organizer. We are not liable for any actions, omissions, or conduct of any facilitator, assistant, retreat organizer, or venue operator.

6. Nature of the Retreat Retreats are spiritual and ceremonial in nature.

• Although some facilitators may be licensed professionals, the retreats are non-clinical and not a form of psychotherapy or medical treatment.
• You are responsible for consulting a licensed healthcare provider beforehand.
• These experiences are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
• The information provided by the retreat hosts, including guidance during ceremonies and integration sessions, has not been evaluated by the Ministry of Health or any other medical authority. This means that the practices and information shared during the retreat do not have official medical endorsement or approval.
• Facilitators may assist you in adjusting the dosage to match your needs, but they do not offer clinical guidance. Experiences vary widely in intensity and may include emotional, psychological, or physical discomfort. Some individuals experience nausea, chills, anxiety, or other temporary side effects.
• Facilitators may accompany you to a nearby medical facility in case of an emergency. However, they are not trained or licensed medical professionals. You must have your own health and travel insurance and accept full responsibility for any related decisions.
• You are responsible for reading and signing the informed consent or waiver agreement provided by your facilitator.

7. Travel, Lodging, and Insurance You are responsible for all travel arrangements, including complying with visa, passport, vaccination, and testing requirements. You are also responsible for your own lodging unless otherwise stated. We strongly recommend that you obtain both travel and health insurance.

8. Participant Responsibility Prior to Referral You are responsible for determining whether a psychedelic retreat is appropriate for your physical, emotional, and mental health.

You agree to fully disclose all relevant health conditions, diagnoses, medications, and past or current psychological treatments as part of your intake process with Consciousness Rising Org LLC. We may review this information to help match you with a suitable facilitator, but we do not make clinical assessments or therapeutic recommendations.

You accept full responsibility for your decision to participate in any retreat and for the consequences of that decision. You agree to consult with a licensed healthcare provider if you have any doubts about your suitability for psychedelic work. We do not guarantee any outcomes or experiences.

You also agree to treat all retreat staff and participants with respect and care. We reserve the right to cancel our coordination process or decline to refer you if we become aware of behavior that may be harmful, threatening, or inappropriate.

9. Participant Declarations Prior to Referral By submitting your application or paying our coordination fee, you confirm that:

• You have disclosed all relevant health information to the best of your ability.
• You understand that participation in psychedelic retreats carries risks, and you assume full responsibility for your choice to proceed.
• You will follow the preparation and integration guidelines provided to you by your facilitator.
• You will comply with the laws and regulations of the country where the retreat takes place.
• You understand that facilitators may decline to work with you or remove you from a retreat at their sole discretion.
• You understand that Consciousness Rising Org LLC is not the retreat organizer, and you release us from any claims arising from your participation.

10. Payments and Refund Policy All payments for coordination and referral services are non-refundable. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations at our sole discretion. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the facilitator or retreat organizer’s separate payment and refund terms.

11. No Guarantees We cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes from any retreat experience. Your journey is personal, unpredictable, and influenced by many factors beyond our control. By participating, you acknowledge this uncertainty and release us from responsibility for the outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that we are not liable for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the Site or our services
• Your participation in any retreat, ceremony, or related activity
• Any act, omission, or statement by a facilitator, retreat staff, or venue operator

This limitation applies to all types of claims, including negligence, contract, tort, or otherwise.

Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Consciousness Rising Org LLC, its directors, agents, and team members from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, your participation in any retreat, or your violation of these Terms.

Terms and Conditions for Online Programs

Thank you for joining one of our online programs offered by The Inner Shift Institute. We value transparency and safety. These Terms and Conditions outline what participation involves, what we provide, and what you agree to by enrolling in any of our online offerings.

1. Nature of the Programs Our online programs and workshops provide somatic, reflective, and educational experiences focused on self-awareness, emotional processing, and inner growth. They are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are currently under psychiatric care, taking medication, or dealing with significant mental health concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before enrolling.

2. Refund Policy All payments are final. A refund is available only within 24 hours of registration and will incur a 5% administrative fee. After 24 hours, no refunds or partial refunds will be issued under any circumstances. To request a refund within the 24-hour window, email our team at info@innershift.institute with your full name and payment confirmation. All time references are based on Central European Time (CET).

3. Payment and Access Full payment is required before the start of a program. Participants who do not complete payment will lose access to live sessions, community spaces, or materials. Payment plans, if available, must be completed according to the agreed schedule. Access will be revoked for unpaid balances.

4. Confidentiality Our programs often include group interaction. Participants are expected to treat all shared information as strictly confidential. Recording, distributing, or sharing any part of the sessions or materials without written permission is not allowed.

5. Participant Responsibility By enrolling, you accept full responsibility for your emotional, physical, and psychological well-being during and after the program. Facilitators provide tools for self-inquiry and integration but do not offer clinical treatment or guarantee specific outcomes. You agree to seek additional professional support if needed.

6. Group Environment We aim to maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive space. You agree to participate with care for others and to avoid disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful behavior. The Inner Shift Institute reserves the right to remove participants without refund if their behavior negatively affects the group experience.

7. Technology and Access Programs are delivered live online, typically via Zoom. You are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and a suitable setup for participation. No refunds will be issued due to personal technical issues, missed sessions, or connection problems.

8. Intellectual Property All materials provided during or after a program—including videos, recordings, exercises, written content, and workbooks—are the intellectual property of The Inner Shift Institute. They are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Liability Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The Inner Shift Institute, its facilitators, and affiliates are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, emotional distress, or loss arising from participation in a program or from the use or inability to use provided materials. No guarantees of results or transformation are made.

10. Program Modifications The Inner Shift Institute reserves the right to adjust the schedule, facilitators, or content as needed. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants via email.

11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from or related to participation in our online programs shall be handled under Maltese jurisdiction.

13. Recording and Consent Certain sessions may be recorded for educational or replay purposes. By attending with your camera or microphone on, you consent to being recorded. You may choose to keep your camera off and use a display name of your choice if you prefer not to appear in any recording.
