Session 4 – Understanding the Voice of Shame on a Deeper Level We will cover: What your inner critic has been trying to protect you from and why it chose harsh methods. You’ll learn to see it as a survival strategy, not an enemy.

Session 5 – Unshaming the Escape We will cover: How to meet your coping patterns with compassion. You’ll explore how numbing, avoiding, or overperforming were ways to stay safe.

Session 6 – Owning Your Gifts and Living as Your Un-Shamed Self We will cover: Reclaiming the parts shame hid: your sensitivity, creativity, voice, and power. You’ll learn to live from self-trust instead of protection.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP HOST

Hi, I’m Alice Smeets. For 15 years I’ve been creating spaces where people can be real with what’s inside. Most of the people who find me are the ones who hold everyone else together but don’t know how to hold themselves.

I’m the founder of The Inner Shift Institute, a photojournalist turned facilitator, and someone who spent years believing I had to earn every drop of love and rest.

I built this course because I got tired of watching brilliant, self-aware humans quietly buckle under an invisible rulebook that says they’re never enough.

This isn’t self-help and it isn’t about fixing you. It’s the one thing all the inner work didn’t give you: a way out of the loop that keeps you high-functioning on the outside and haunted on the inside.
